VietNamNet Bridge – Thousands of vehicles could not move on the roads around Dan Chu roundabout in District 3, HCM City because of the gathering of young fans to see the Korean girl band T-Ara.
Many young boys and girls cheered and cried when they saw T-Ara members stepdown from the car. People carried banners and slogans, standing on their bicycles and motorcycles or anywhere possible to cheer and wait for Korean singers to ask for their signatures.
Hundreds of young people stood in front of a phone shop near the Dan Chu Roundabout to wait for their idols.
They jostled, pushed each other to overcome the crowd to get close to their Korean pop stars. Some people lost their wallet and cell phone.
After gathering on Ba Thang Hai Street, near the Dan Chu Roundabout, hundreds of young people followed their Korean idols to another phone shop near the Le Dai Hanh Roundabout in District 11. Wherever the Korean girl band was, traffic chaos occurred.
The congestion lasted for an hour.
Also on March 15, the Korean girl band were present at three locations in Ho Chi Minh City to meet Vietnamese fans before they left Vietnam after a four-day visit.
