Designer Minh Hanh will introduce Vietnamese culture at an event held to celebrate Fukuoka Prize's 30th anniversary in Japan on September 10.
At the event themed The Development of Asian Cultures, Vietnamese designer Minh Hanh, who is one among four guests, will introduce some Vietnamese traditional materials including silk, brocatelle and ramie and propose measures to preserve and develop the fabrics in integration time.
The event aims to raise public awareness on the importance of preserving unique cultures of Asian region and seek measures for culture sustainable development.
