SCG International Internship, an annual internship program of SCG, will select 15 talented students in Vietnam for a one-month internship program in Thailand, together with students from other ASEAN countries including Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and the Philippines.

This is an opportunity for outstanding Vietnamese students to experience a professional working environment and be trained at SCG’s leading business units in Thailand to prepare themselves for a global context.

Application is open from now to February 28. SCG is going to organize an information session in HCMC on January 11 and another in Hanoi on January 12. Interested students could either apply or register for information sessions at Facebook SCG Chung Mot Uoc Mo.

SCG International Internship seeks potential candidates who have accomplished their 2nd year of bachelor degree in engineering, management, marketing, business administration and law. To be eligible for program, candidates must go through a thorough qualification process, in which they have to show their abilities and global viewpoints in attitudes tests, essays and interviews. The internship program will last from July 10 to August 8 in Thailand.

In 2016, there were 15 excellent Vietnamese students among 40 international students selected for the program and they were highly appraised by SCG’s management and experts.

Praween Wirotpan, general director of SCG Vietnam said, in a statement: “SCG International Internship is one of the corporate initiatives to seek regional top talents, provide them with practical knowledge in a professional working environment at SCG’s leading businesses. The program is expected to build a quality and sustainable work force, being an element and also a drive for future growth of SCG in particular and of the country in general.”
