The opening event of the 2025 Vietnam Professional Golf Tournament has crowned its deserving champion: Filipino golfer Aidric Chan.

In the thrilling final round, 57 athletes competed fiercely, delivering a series of unexpected results. Aidric Chan made a remarkable comeback, climbing from fourth place to the top of the leaderboard.

Chan impressed spectators with one eagle, five birdies, one bogey, and one double bogey, finishing the 18-hole round at four under par (-4). With a championship score of eight under par (-8), Chan claimed the title at the latest tournament within the Asian professional golf circuit in Vietnam, earning a prize of 15,750 USD.

Four Vietnamese golfers made it to the final round: Nguyen Nhat Long, Tran Le Duy Nhat, Nguyen Tuan Kiet, and Nguyen Quang Za Vinh, all of whom delivered commendable performances.

Notably, 15-year-old Nguyen Quang Za Vinh, an amateur golfer, finished with a score of +13, earning the title of Best Amateur for his exceptional performance.
