The exceptional performance of Nguyen Anh Minh led the Vietnam golf team to victory at the 2024 Asia-Pacific Amateur Team Golf Championship.

On their home course at the 2024 Asia-Pacific Amateur Team Golf Championship, Vietnamese golfers delivered impressive performances. Nguyen Anh Minh shone brightly, recording three consecutive rounds under par.

With the outstanding play of Anh Minh and Khanh Hung, the Vietnam golf team topped the leaderboard after three rounds with a total score of -12, one stroke ahead of Japan and five strokes ahead of New Zealand.

During the final day of competition, Anh Minh continued to lead the Vietnam team. He carded a round of -5, playing a crucial role in helping the host team clinch the championship with a total score of -20, finishing three strokes ahead of Japan.

The Vietnam golf team made history by winning the Asia-Pacific Amateur Team Golf Championship for the first time. Nguyen Anh Minh was the standout player of the tournament, finishing under par in all four rounds (-1, -5, -1, -5).

The 2024 Asia-Pacific Amateur Team Golf Championship was held from October 15 to 18 in Hai Phong, featuring 19 teams from various countries and territories across the Asia-Pacific region.

The Vietnam team competed with three athletes: Nguyen Anh Minh, Le Khanh Hung, and Ho Anh Huy. Initially aiming for a medal, they exceeded expectations by winning the championship.
