Having run for three months, a project titled “Vietnamese FineArts and Cultural Diplomacy” has successfully called on Vietnamese artists to donate their pictures for the country’s representative offices abroad. The project aims to strengthen cultural diplomacy between Vietnam and international friends.





Some 100 paintings by 60 Vietnamese artists are soon going to be delivered to Vietnamese embassies overseas to bring Vietnam’s image closer to international friends through cultural diplomacy.

Despite differences in theme, style and material, the art still portray a distinctive image of the Southeast Asian country with both traditional and modern traits.

Theproject of “Vietnamese art and Cultural Diplomacy” was originated by Vietnamese artists’ desire to introduce the country’s fine arts to the world and also the need for paintings to decorate Vietnamese diplomatic offices.

The project also acts as platform to showcase Vietnamese artworks to the world, showing the development of Vietnamese fine art.
