The first Vietnam Global Leaders Forum is scheduled to take place on March 30 and 31 in Paris, looking to discuss ways to prepare Vietnamese brands for the international stage.
Aided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the event is co-organised by the Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts (AVSE Global) and the State Committee on Overseas Vietnamese Affairs.
Speakers at the forum will include Kingsley Aikins, founder and CEO of Diaspora Matters, and Tran Manh Bao, Chairman and CEO of the Thai Binh Seed Corporation.
Meanwhile, the 200 guests of honour will see successful overseas Vietnamese nationals like billionaire Hoang Chuc; researcher, doctor, and university professor Dinh Xuan Anh Tuan; and supermodel Jessica Minh Anh.
The event will feature presentations and discussions that revolve around the topics of branding in Vietnam, agriculture, tourism, technological innovation and growth, and culture.
On the sidelines, there will be meetings for businesses, as well as between project initiators and leading French enterprises.
Established in 2011, the France-based AVSE Global brings together some 200 scientists and experts living all over the world.
In the past few years, it has worked with the State Committee on Overseas Vietnamese Affairs to hold a series of workshops and forums on subways, highways, and smart cities; finance and banking; leadership; digital economy; renewable energy; and public policy management, among others. –VNA
