Cuong Vu, winner of two Grammy awards, was the first Vietnamese Grammy award winner. He won for Best Contemporary Jazz Album, through his work with the Pat Metheny band.

He is currently associate professor and chair of jazz studies at the University of Washington. He was awarded the prestigious Distinguished Teacher Award in his third year on the faculty.

Vu is also widely recognised by jazz critics as a leader of a generation of innovative musicians.

Before the concert, customers will have the privilege of a 60-minute chat with Vu to talk about his journey with jazz as both an artist and an educator.

Tickets are 400,000 to 600,000 VND per person, with a 10 percent discount for students.-VNA
