Da Nang’s Dragon bridge won the Diamond Award in the 2014 Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) by the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC New York) in the structural systems category. 

This award is the highest honor for a project outside the US.

The Dragon Bridge offers a dazzling display of lights, fire, and water that no first-time visitor to Da Nang should miss out on. 

Measuring at 666 metres in length, it is located in Da Nang City and constructed in the shape of a golden dragon.

The Bamboo Wings Restaurant and the Dai Lai Conference Hall in the Dai Lai Bamboo Complex, Vinh Phuc province won the gold award for resort building from the Architects Regional Council Asia (ARCASIA) 2014 and the Building of the Year award, respectively. 

Bamboo Wings Restaurant and Cafeteria was designed based on the image of a flying crane. Using bamboo as the major material, the bird wing-like construction creates an open pavilion imbued with traditional Vietnamese architectural features.

Bitexco Financial Tower is a skyscraper in Ho Chi Minh City. With 68 floors above ground and three basements, the building has a height of 262.5 metres.

In 2013, CNN named the Bitexco Financial Tower one of the 25 Great Skyscraper Icons of Construction. In 2015, Thrillist named the Bitexco Financial Tower the second Coolest Skyscraper in the World.

Hanoi Museum’s inverted pyramid has a spiral ramp inside, which brings visitors to every exhibit, according to Business Insider.

Located on Pham Hung Street, next to the National Conference Center, Hanoi Museum is a place where you can reflect on Hanoi’s past and observe the present with thousands of artefacts relating to the capital. 

With more than 50,000sq.m and 12,000sq.m for construction, this is the biggest and the most modern museum in Vietnam.

Farming Kindergarten

Farming Kindergarten in Dong Nai province, designed by Vo Trong Nghia Architects, won the International Architecture Award 2015. 

In addition, Farming Kindergarten named among the top 30 architectural designs 2016 by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) thanks to its harmony with nature and energy saving.

In 2015, the building won the prize at the Building of the Year Awards by ArchDaily – the leading architecture magazine in the world.

The kindergarten was built on a total area of 3,800m2 for children of workers in an adjacent shoe factory owned by the Pou Chen Corporation in Hoa An ward, Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province.
