Ba Bo flower village has a rich100-year history. The flower village has been a popular destination for visitors for many years. Locals tend their nurseries year round, with Tet bringing the busiest times for trade. Growers are putting the finishing touches on displays of beautiful flower products to serve Tet. This year, new varieties of flowers are being grown to meet customers’ demands for Tet. Bright and colourful flowers are already in bloom. Gardeners provide meticulous care for their gardens of flowers. Chrysanthemums are considered the most important flower of Ba Bo flower village during Tet holiday. The flower village has provided more than 100,000 flower potsfor the domestic market this year. Each household prepares thousands of flower pots for Tet. Due to demand, the price of flowers is predicted to increase by 20 - 30% compared to normal. Growing flowers can provide a generous income for locals in the region.
