The Miss Universe Vietnam 2025 competition is heating up as well-known beauty queens, including Thanh Ngan and Thuy Hang, officially join the race.
A familiar face in the beauty pageant world, Dang Thanh Ngan, the second runner-up of Miss Ocean Vietnam 2017, has confirmed her participation in Miss Universe Vietnam 2025.
Born in 1999 and standing 1.75 meters tall, Thanh Ngan previously represented Vietnam at Miss Supranational 2023 in Poland, where she secured the fourth runner-up title.Originally from Soc Trang, Thanh Ngan was once a shy girl, but pageantry helped her break through her personal barriers and discover her full potential.
“I believe that when a woman dares to step beyond her limits, she not only transforms her own life but also inspires others to become more positive. I am ready for this journey and hope it will allow me to create even greater impact,” she said.
Beyond her pursuit of the crown, Thanh Ngan hopes to use her platform to support underprivileged children in the Mekong Delta and across Vietnam, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their dreams.Nong Thuy Hang, Miss Vietnam Ethnic 2022, is also making a return to pageantry by entering Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2025.
Born in 1999 and standing 1.7 meters tall, Thuy Hang is of Tay ethnicity and hails from Ha Giang. She was an outstanding student at both Ha Giang Specialized High School and Hanoi National University of Education, achieving 12 years of academic excellence. She also won third place in the National Literature Olympiad and was granted direct admission to university.
In October 2023, Thuy Hang represented Vietnam at Miss Friendship International, where she earned the title of third runner-up.
“The journey to beauty pageants has never been easy. But I believe every challenge is an opportunity to grow stronger and contribute more. I want to help children in remote areas access better education and promote Vietnam’s traditional attire on the global stage,” she said.
Previously, Thuy Hang gained recognition for her cultural projects, such as The Many Colors of Vietnamese Ethnic Wedding Costumes, and has served as an ambassador for numerous charitable programs supporting ethnic women and children.Making her third pageant appearance, Bui Thi Thanh Thuy, who placed in the top 16 at Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2023, returns with greater confidence and maturity.
Born in 1997 and standing 1.68 meters tall, Thanh Thuy is a singer, music producer, and a traditional martial arts instructor.
She has achieved notable success in previous competitions, including a top 30 placement at Miss Tourism Vietnam 2020 and a top 15 finish at Miss Grand Vietnam 2023.“I believe that beauty is not just about appearance but also about inner strength and a relentless spirit. This time, I am ready to become the best version of myself, driven by a strong desire to create positive change in society,” Thanh Thuy affirmed.Beyond her artistic career, Thanh Thuy actively participates in charitable initiatives, particularly those focused on helping children in Central Vietnam. To her, each pageant is a journey of self-improvement and a mission to spread kindness.
