A fire ripped through a house located at 17 Phung Hung Street in Hanoi on July 24, thankfully no casualties have been reported.
At the scene
According to preliminary information, the fire was sparked at around 10:00am in the house’s attic and rapidly spread to the lower floor. At that time, a grandmother and her three grandchildren were still in the house.
When they became aware of the growing blaze, they fled the building in a panic. The three children were found in a good condition while their grandmother suffered a light injury.
Upon receiving reports of the fire, firefighters and fire engines were mobilised to the scene to battle the flames.
The cause of the fire was identified as an electrical short circuit. The incident is still under investigation.
