UPS is the leader in global logistics, with revenue standing at $62 billion in 2016.

Founded in 1907, UPS is the world’s largest package delivery company and a leading global provider of specialized transportation and logistics services.

Using advanced technology, access to global resources, and an integrated network of physical, technological, and human assets, it provides a powerful competitive advantage that can help companies earn repeat customers and grow their business.

Under the cooperation agreement, FPT and UPS will support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam based on their own strengths to improve efficiency in the digital economy through cross-border e-commerce.

FPT will become a strategic partner of UPS, providing advanced technology solutions and efficient IT services to help it expand its business, optimize its operations, and bring benefits to customers and shareholders.

The two parties began to cooperate in 2016. UPS is now one of FPT’s most important customers in the US in its digital conversion strategy.

FPT is one of only a few IT companies in Vietnam to achieve success in the US. Entering the market in 2008, FPT has six offices in major US cities: New York, Seattle, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas and Sunnyvale, with over 150 employees from 15 countries.

It currently provides IT services in the US to more than 20 leading corporations in the fields of aircraft manufacturing, elevator control system design, satellite television, and banking. It has grown at an average rate of 45 per cent annually in recent years.

In 2016, revenue from the US market reached VND1.003 trillion ($44.15 million) and is expected to reach VND1.3 trillion ($57.25 million) this year.
