More than 30 circus artists from different art troupes will entertain audiences at HCM City’s Sen Hong (Pink Lotus) Stage with a free gala.

Circus artists will perform for free at the Special Circus Gala tonight in HCM City.

The event, Special Circus Gala, will offer circus, puppet, dance and fire art performances.

Its highlights include performances staged by Tran Dung, Hoang Nghiem, Van Nhu and Hoang Quy, who have won top prizes at circus festivals at home and abroad.

The artists will perform on a stage with light and sound effects.

“The circus was popular in the 1980s. We decided to join the gala because we wanted to make art great again,” said magicican Tran Binh of the HCM City-based circus club Vietnamese Melody.

The show will be staged at 8pm tonight (November 12) at the Sen Hong Stage in 23/9 Park in District 1’s Pham Ngu Lao Street.
