French retailer Auchan has said 100 ready-made Vietnamese dishes will appear on the shelves of its stores in Vietnam next month.

At an event held at the Auchan Pham Van Chi Mall in District 6, HCMC last Friday, Auchan Vietnam unveiled the upcoming launch of its nutritious ready-made dishes for local customers.

Famous Vietnamese food expert Nguyen Thi Dieu Thao is responsible for preparing 100 popular dishes for sale at Auchan stores. She will also run 30 training sessions to instruct 50 Auchan cooks to make these dishes.

Jorge Fernandez Asensio, general director of Auchan Retail Vietnam, said the company has made a commitment to providing fresh and clean food and nutritious meals for local consumers.

Auchan launched its first supermarket in Vietnam in 2015 and has since expanded its retail system to 15 stores, with each covering 1,500 to 2,500 square meters.
