On the afternoon of September 23, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Sa Pa town Phan Dang Toan received the delegation of Pingbian County, Yunnan province (China) led by Mr. Tang Xiao Bang, member of the Party Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Government of Pingbian County, who came to attend the 120th Anniversary of Sa Pa tourism.

At the reception, Secretary of Sa Pa Town Party Committee Phan Dang Toan gave an overview of the socio-economic development situation of Sa Pa town in recent times. At the same time, he emphasized that Sa Pa town is promoting the culture, tourism, country and people of Pingbian according to the signed cooperation program.

The Party Secretary of Sa Pa Town hoped that in the coming time, the two localities would continue to promote cooperation in the fields of tourism and agriculture.

On behalf of the Pingbian County delegation, Mr. Tang Xiao Bang expressed his joy attending the 120th anniversary of Sa Pa tourism and said that this visit of the Pingbian County delegation to Sa Pa town is also to learn from experience and further discuss cooperation issues in implementing programs and projects in tourism and agriculture. At the same time, he expressed the hope that the Secretary of the Sa Pa Town Party Committee would continue to support cooperation between the two localities in development fields.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Government of Pingbian County invited the leaders of Sa Pa town to visit and attend the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Pingbian County in the near future, to further promote the cooperation between the two localities.

Receiving the invitation of Mr. Tang Xiao Bang, Mr. Phan Dang Toan conveyed greetings to Mr. Tang Wen Hui, Secretary of Pingbian County Party Committee. He said that during this business trip of the Pingbian County delegation, Sa Pa authorities had arranged a number of places for the Pingbian County delegation to visit and survey. These include agricultural development models to exchange experiences and enhance cooperation.
