In the first semi-final match on December 18, Thai Son Nam beat Cao Bang 2-0 in the penalty shootout after drawing 1-1 in the main halves.

Cao Bang proved that they weren’t easy to beat in the match. They blocked nearly all attacks of Thai Son Nam and opened the score first, thanks to Mi Woen in the seventh minute.

In the second half, Thai Son Nam created several dangerous chances for their rivals, including using power play tactics to seek goals.

In the 38th minute, Van Quy levelled the score for Thai Son Nam.

In the other semi-final match, Thai Son Bac defeated Hai Phuong Nam 5-4.

On December 20, Hai Phuong Nam will also play against Cao Bang for the third-placed position.
