VietNamNet Bridge – A number of casino tycoons have visited Vietnam in recent years, promising  to develop multi-billion dollar casino projects in the country, but then they left. Will they return once their demands are satisfied?

The casinos in Vietnam would target four groups of clients – Chinese, foreign travelers, expatriates and maybe Vietnamese (if the government lifts the bar to Vietnamese in the future). Of these, Chinese players offer the most lucrative opportunities.

 VietNamNet Bridge - Dozens of casinos have been built along the Vietnam-Cambodia border for the purpose of luring Vietnamese gamblers.

VietNamNet Bridge - At 4.15pm on January 10, three young men fell from the fifth floor of an apartment building on Quach Van Tuan street, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City to the ground. Two died while the remaining is critical.
