German pianist Boris Schönleber will perform best pieces by the German composers Richard Wagner, Robert Schumann and Austrian Hugo Wolf at the Goethe Institute in Hanoi on March 12.

The artist already performed several concerts at Goethe-Institut Hanoi in 2014.


The piano soloist, song accompanist and chamber musician Boris Schönleber studied in Berlin and later received his Performers Diploma in London. 

His concert journeys led him to many European countries, to South East Asia and several times to Central Asia. He made recordings for movies, TV, radio and CDs both as a soloist and as a chamber musician.

Mezzo-soprano Katharina Padrok and tenor Sebastian Myrus will be also on stage together with the pianist in  performances at Vietnam Dance College on March 17 and at Youth Theater on March 18 in Hanoi; and a concert introducing Italian songs that will take place at HCMC Conservatory of Music on March 19.

As a concert soloist, tenor Sebastian Myrus  has worked together with many well-known ensembles in Germany and Europe. 

His interest in music of all styles and eras led him to Washington, Qatar, Hawaii and Vietnam.

Katharina Padrok is a vocal coach at the Frankfurt Music Academy. She studied vocals at Berlin University of the Arts. 

As a sought-after soloist, Katharina Padrok has given several concerts in Germany and abroad. Her solo repertoire is diverse. 

Besides common oratorios, passions and Bach Cantatas, her repertoire covers a number of song programs, contemporary music and tango songs. She has worked with pianist Boris Schönleber many times. 

They taught master classes in Vietnam and at the Conservatory of music in Hanoi.
