The regulations are for seven civil servant positions comprising of military chief, ward police chief, in departments of finance-accounting, in departments of justice- births, deaths and marriages, in departments of culture- society, in departments of statistic, in departments of land survey- constructing or urban and environment.
According to the regulations, a healthy, morally good and qualified man over the age of 18 with Vietnamese nationality is entitled to register for civil servant recruitment examination in wards.
Those people who meet standards of moral and ability will be appointed as military chiefs and police chiefs while other civil servants will sit an examination.
Examinees must hold suitable degree for the position they apply for, as per the regulations. Direct admission is applied for fresh graduates with good qualification of local universities or their peers with relatively good qualification of foreign universities and those with MA/ PhD degree.
Similarly, those have been working in the same position in other offices within 60 months are directly admitted without taking examination.
The regulations also says chairpersons of People’s Committee will establish a recruitment council for the examination. Recruits must spend six or twelve month apprenticeship.
