Google has announced it offered free access for large and small-scale businesses in Viet Nam to Google Apps for Work by the end of June this year.

This is an attempt by the technology giant to expand the application of cloud-based solutions in Vietnam, recognising the huge potential of the country with a population of more than 90 million and an estimated 500,000 businesses.

The information was released by Global Integrated Management System Co Ltd (Gimasys), which is the authorised partner to provide Google Apps solutions on cloud computing platforms for businesses in Vietnam. The solution will help reduce IT costs and red tape, while helping employees work better together and be more productive.

According to Gimasys, a plan to change the technology is part of Google's development strategy to help businesses across the globe use Google Apps for Work.
