On September 24, Google announced the launch of its new AI Plus subscription package in the Vietnamese market. This plan grants access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, Google’s most advanced AI model, and its Deep Research functionality. It also includes limited access to video creation via Veo 3 Fast.

For professional filmmakers, Google AI Plus unlocks cinematic-level video generation tools through Veo 3 within Flow and Whisk platforms. Each user receives 200 monthly AI credits that can be spent across both tools.

Integrated AI-powered tools and cloud storage

The plan also includes access to NotebookLM, Google’s AI assistant for research and content creation. Users benefit from features such as audio summaries, expanded notebook capacity and source support, as well as customization for writing style and tone. Enhanced sharing options and usage analytics are also included.

Google AI Plus integrates Gemini directly into Gmail, Docs, and other Google ecosystem products. Users receive 200GB of shared cloud storage across Google Photos, Drive, and Gmail, with the ability to share with up to five people.

With this launch, Google now offers three paid AI plans in Vietnam: AI Plus, AI Pro, and AI Ultra. The AI Plus package is the most affordable, priced at approximately $5 per month, with a 50% discount for the first six months, reducing the cost to just $2.50/month.

Meanwhile, AI Ultra, the highest-tier package, costs about $125 per month for three months and provides 30TB of storage and maximum access to Google’s AI tools including Veo 3, Flow, and Whisk.

A competitive alternative to ChatGPT

Notably, Google AI Plus is nearly half the price of the ChatGPT Plus plan from OpenAI, which is currently priced at $20/month, providing access to the powerful GPT-5 model and limited use of the Sora video generation tool.

OpenAI’s ChatGPT Pro plan is priced at $200/month, offering access to GPT-5 Pro, a model with greater computational resources designed to deliver highly optimized responses to complex queries.
