The buses which would run on the 40.7-km route, with 33 stops, are expected to serve people who want to travel by bus from the western part of Hanoi to the airport and vice versa.

Buses would run every 30 minutes from 5 am until 11 pm, departing from the bus stop at Me Linh Plaza, Ha Dong, to Noi Bai Airport and vice versa.

Ha Dong – Noi Bai Airport bus route’s ticket would be VND40,000 (US$1.72) per trip. Each bus could carry 60-80 passengers and offer free Wifi.

The new bus route will not be subsidised, costing less travel time than subsidised ones due to fewer stops. It aims to attract airline passengers who are using personal vehicles or taxi services to switch to using this transport service.
