The walking zone is anticipated to become a fresh entertainment and check-in spot for both residents and visitors on weekends.

The pedestrian street will extend through two streets of Long Tien and Le Quy Don in Bach Dang ward of Ha Long city and is scheduled to operate from 6 p.m. to midnight every Friday and Saturday.

With a large and open space, the zone is suitable for organising culinary contests, art performances, and outdoor exhibitions.

The highlight of "Bai Tho Walking Street" is to be the cultural space of Long Tien Pagoda, one of the most famous spiritual tourist attractions of Ha Long.

The launch of Bai Tho walking street will contribute to diversifying tourism products in Quang Ninh province whilst stimulating tourism demand, helping the locality to fulfil the target of welcoming 15 million visitors this year.
