Contestants passed several rounds of competition, including an Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress) performance, evening gown and talent segments. The top 5 contestants then entered the Q&A competition to choose the top 3.

Ha Trang, a student from the Hanoi-based University of Economics-Technology for Industries, surpassed 20 finalists to become the winner of the beauty pageant.

The first and second runner-up were Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong from Da Nang and Nguyen Hong Trang from Buon Ma Thuot province.

Ha Trang's skills on the catwalk as a professional model coupled with her great self-confidence helped Trang to shine throughout the contest.

Ha Trang was previously the first runner-up of the Miss Vietnam Fashion 2018. She also possessed remarkable academic achievements. 

Nguyen Van Tuan, Mister Grand International 2019, Nguyen Kim Phung, Vietnam Fitness Model 2021 runner-up, and Bui Thao Phuong, Vietnam Supermodel 2018 runner-up, were among the celebrities to judge the pageant.
