On June 18, Hanoi Police announced that investigators had executed a temporary detention order and search warrant against Nguyen Thien Huong, born in 1982 and residing in Hong Ha Ward, Hanoi, as part of an investigation into alleged abuse of democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the State and the lawful rights and interests of organizations and individuals.

According to authorities, Huong used the TikTok account "Ha My" (@h.my3208) to publish multiple false claims that seriously affected the reputation of healthcare institutions.

Initial findings indicate that between July 2025 and November 2025, she uploaded nine video clips containing fabricated, defamatory and inflammatory content that infringed upon the lawful rights and interests of both Saint Paul General Hospital and Phuong Dong General Hospital.

The case remains under investigation, and authorities said further inquiries are underway to clarify all relevant circumstances and ensure strict handling in accordance with the law.
