Hanoi has found itself under a blanket of heavy fog for the past three days. This has caused many difficulties for local people as they go about their daily lives and traffic in the city.
![]() As the fog spreads across the capital city early in the morning, it becomes denser. ![]() Due to the thickness of the fog and the reduced visibility, many vehicles are forced to move slower when travelling on the streets of Hanoi. ![]() At 8am on March 19, many motorbikes had to resort to using their headlights to see the road clearly. ![]() The fog and humidity have been forecast to last several days. ![]() The fog has also spread over Chuong Duong and Long Bien bridges. ![]() From street level the tops of many buildings cannot be seen. ![]() The city’s skyline is covered by fog. ![]()
