New recruit, V.League 1 side Ha Noi FC have signed midfielder Andy Mgisewa of Uganda ahead of the start to the national premier league season.

Mwesigwa, 31, began his career in 2002 and made his international debut for Uganda in 2003.

The team have added Jean Eudes Maurice to their squad earlier this off-season. The Haitian striker played for Paris Saint Germain from 2009 to 2013. The 30-year-old has been capped 25 times for his country, scoring 12 goals.

Ha Noi will meet Hoang Anh Gia Lai in their first match of the national top flight on Sunday.
