The latest Ao Dai designs are part of the “Ao Dai Heritage - Culture of Love” project implemented by Golden Heritage Group, the Italian Embassy in Hanoi, the Vietnamese Embassy in Rome, and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam.
The purpose of the project is to promote Ao Dai to the international fashion market, while simultaneously applying the quintessence of Italian international technology to the production of the country’s traditional long dress.
The Italian designer introduces a total of 15 outfits at the event, with one design having the theme of “Gold and Mother of Pearl".
Each design by Di Terlizzi has a different name, thereby helping to introduce the traditional long dress to the world. This outfit is themed “Like a Butterfly".
A design titled “Deep night in purple" draws inspiration from Truong Tien bridge in Hue City.
Vietnamese designer Le Quang Hoa also debuts his Ao Dai collection during the course of the fashion show.
Italian Ambassador to Vietnam Antonio Alessandro (third from left) is joined by his wife at the event.
