Located next to the CV1 Park, the center covers an expansive 40,000 square meters, with approximately 10,280 square meters of building space.

Managed by the city's Cultural and Social Project Management Board, the complex features a range of modern facilities aimed at creating a hub for children's development. One of the standout features is the Astronomical Tower, which rises 68 meters and consists of 18 floors. Positioned near Pham Hung Road, the tower is expected to become a landmark of the complex.

The project, initially approved in 2020, was completed ahead of schedule, reducing the construction time by 10%, according to the city’s officials. The construction began in November 2021 and was completed by the end of June 2024.

The Children’s Cultural Complex is equipped with an impressive range of facilities designed to enhance both physical and intellectual development. These include a year-round indoor swimming pool, measuring 25x25 meters with 10 lanes and depths ranging from 1.3 to 1.8 meters. Additionally, the complex includes a modern theater with 800 seats, complemented by a 3D-4D cinema with 200 seats, ensuring that children can enjoy a variety of entertainment options.

Other highlights include a 500-seat sports arena, various functional classrooms, and a library, all built to meet contemporary standards for safety and comfort. These spaces are designed to accommodate a wide range of activities, from sports and physical education to academic learning and cultural performances.

In addition to its extensive educational facilities, the center also boasts unique architectural features such as a spiral-designed skylight in the central atrium, offering an aesthetic as well as functional aspect to the building. The outdoor circular pool, designed for younger children, adds another distinctive element to the complex’s layout.

Designed with a focus on children's cultural and physical development, the new Children’s Cultural Complex is one of Hanoi’s flagship projects for 2020-2025. It aims to provide a central location for children to engage in diverse activities, from learning to performing arts, sports, and recreation, contributing to their overall growth and creativity.

The center is expected to become not only a key cultural venue for children in the capital but also a major destination for youth activities across the country.
