Hanoi Police launch a crime suppression campaign for Tet 2025.

Key Campaign Objectives

Unified Crime Suppression Efforts: The operation emphasizes leveraging the strength of the entire political system to attack and suppress crime, while enhancing the public’s role in protecting national security. It aims to ensure justice, avoiding wrongful convictions, coerced confessions, or the overlooking of crimes.

Traffic Safety and Fire Prevention: Authorities are targeting reductions in traffic accidents across all three criteria—number of incidents, fatalities, and injuries. Efforts will focus on preventing extended traffic congestion, particularly during peak travel periods, and minimizing fire hazards during Tet celebrations and early-year festivals.

Comprehensive Crime Deterrence Measures: The police are implementing coordinated and decisive measures to deter and combat criminal activities. They are committed to meeting or exceeding campaign targets on time, enhancing public confidence in law enforcement.

The campaign demands clear delegation of tasks, with precise responsibilities assigned to each unit, individual, and leader. The approach includes clearly defined roles, specific measures, timelines, and outcomes, holding leaders of police units accountable for progress and results.
