Hanoi triumphed at the National Fencing Championships, which ended at the city’s Trinh Hoai Duc Gymnasium on Sunday.

The team brought home six golds, six silvers and seven bronze medals. Hai Duong went to second with two golds, two silvers and four bronzes. HCM City came in third with two golds, two silvers and one bronze.

The event attracted the participation of 120 fencers from many provinces, such as Binh Phuoc, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong and Hai Phong.

They competed in 12 categories of epee, foil, and sabre.
