This request follows concerns raised by social media posts claiming that the Literature exam questions were leaked, leading to the replacement of the official questions with backup ones.

A representative from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training emphasized that the claims of leaked exam questions are false and have caused significant public confusion, impacting the integrity of the city's high-school entrance exams. Consequently, the department has asked the police to investigate and clarify these allegations to maintain the exam's security and seriousness.

The controversy arose after social media reports suggested that the official Literature exam questions, which included a question on the poem “Bep Lua” (Fireplace) by Bang Viet, were leaked prior to the exam, prompting the use of backup questions. The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has strongly denied these reports.

The entrance exams, held on June 8-9, include subjects such as Literature, Math, and English. Following the exams, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will commence the grading process. For multiple-choice subjects, they will utilize computers and software to ensure accurate and efficient marking.

The timeline for the release of exam results is as follows:

June 24 to July 2: The Department will compile and print exam result reports for each candidate.

By July 2: Exam scores will be published on the Department's Electronic Information Portal.

Candidates who wish to request a re-evaluation of their scores can do so between July 3-9.

July 5: A meeting will be held to review and announce the admission scores for grade 10 for non-specialized public high schools and specialized high schools.
