The exhibit is scheduled to draw the participation of 30 Vietnamese graffiti artists and others from Indonesia, Cambodia, Australia, Germany, France, and the UK.
The artists will come together to showcase a range of graffiti pieces to local art lovers at the Gia Lam train factory in Long Bien district, with their creativity being used to transform vehicles, as well as on the walls of the building.
The Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023 will be the largest event of its kind to date and will return to the capital from November 17 to November 26, featuring a wide range of activities.
According to details given by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, the annual festival aims to realise Hanoi’s initiatives and commitments to UNESCO as a member of the UN organisation’s Creative Cities Network.
The festival is to take place with the theme of "Flow" as it seeks to shine a spotlight on the Red River which is considered to be a vital thread connecting the historical, cultural, and socio-economic values of the capital.
The event was first held back in 2021 and is to be hosted by the administration of Hanoi, the Vietnam Association of Architects, the UNESCO Representative Office in Hanoi, and UN-Habitat.
