VietNamNet Bridge – The Prime Minister has allowed Hanoi to open three bus routes (without state subsidies) connecting the city center to the Noi Bai International Airport in the suburbs.

According to the Hanoi Department of Transport, the three bus routes will be the Thong Nhat Park – Noi Bai Airport, Hoang Cau Lake – Ring Road 2 – Noi Bai Airport and Nuoc Ngam bus station – Ring Road 3 – Noi Bai Airport.

The bus routes will be supplied by the prestigious transport companies, without state subsidy as other bus routes in the city.

Currently, there are only two bus routes from Hanoi center to the Noi Bai Airport, including the bus No. 7 from Cau Giay District to Noi Bai and No. 17 from Long Bien District to the airport, which are always overloaded. Moreover, the passengers are not allowed to carry bulky luggage with them.

In related news, HCM City has just launched a new, modern bus route from the city hub to the Tan Son Nhat International Airport to serve tourists.
