Hanoi police have announced that several key streets in the city center will be temporarily closed or restricted to traffic on January 31 to ensure security and public safety during the “Light Symphony – Welcome 2026” concert.

According to a statement issued on January 30, the event will take place at August Revolution Square, located in Cua Nam Ward, Hanoi.
To prepare for the large public gathering, full road closures will be in effect from 2:00 PM to midnight on January 31 on the following streets:
Trang Tien (from Tran Quang Khai to Ngo Quyen)
Phan Chu Trinh (from Ly Thuong Kiet to August Revolution Square)
Le Thanh Tong (from Ly Thuong Kiet to August Revolution Square)
Co Tan
Ly Thai To (from the State Bank Square to August Revolution Square)
Ngo Quyen (from the State Bank Square to Hai Ba Trung)
Hai Ba Trung (from Ngo Quyen to Le Thanh Tong)
Dang Thai Than
Pham Ngu Lao
In addition, common trucks, special-use trucks, and passenger cars with 16 seats or more (except public buses, garbage collection trucks, emergency and authorized service vehicles, and those with security markings) will be entirely banned from several streets.
Private cars and motorcycles will also face restricted access on these routes:
Ngo Quyen (from Hai Ba Trung to Tran Hung Dao)
Hai Ba Trung (from Ngo Quyen to Le Duan)
Phan Chu Trinh (from Ly Thuong Kiet to Tran Hung Dao)
Le Thanh Tong (from Ly Thuong Kiet to Tran Hung Dao)
