Hanoi triumphed at the National Youth Sepak Takraw Championship which conluded in the southern province of Dong Nai on Monday.

The team won three gold, two silver and five bronze medals.

According to Le Thanh Son, general secretary of the Viet Nam Sepak Takraw Federation, the event attracted young talents aged from 17-20 mainly from Mekong Delta provinces and the Southern region.

The event attracted more than 200 players from 13 teams across the country who competed in 12 categories for men and women.

The event was co-organised by the Viet Nam Sepak Takraw Federation and the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. — VNS
