Hanoi University of Science and Technology welcomes Cruze Howard

This is the first year the university recruits students for Data Science and AI Department.

Cruze Howard finished high school education in the US and was ever granted a scholarship of Union Star R-II High School for his excellent study results. 

After graduation, Howard followed an economic course at Missouri Western State University for one year. Then he decided to stop this to move to Vietnam for the study.

Howard, 21, said that he likes IT and knows that Hanoi University of Science and Technology is among Vietnam’s top universities in this area. It's IT training quality is highly regarded.

According to Tran Van Top, deputy headmaster of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, said that over the recent years, the university has become a destination for many international students, including those from Europe, Asia and America, mostly from schools which co-operate with the university.

The university presented Cruze Howard a scholarship which is equal to 25% of the total tuition fees. So, Cruze Howard will have to pay tuition fees of around VND50 million (USD2,250) annually, the same as other students.

Every year, the university welcomes around 15-20 foreign students who mainly register for ICT and scientific areas. Dtinews
