The works comprise of 61 graphics designs, 40 sculptures and 20 practical fine art pieces by established and emerging artists.
The work of veteran artists To Chiem, Pham Dinh Binh and Khong Do Tuyen are on display at the exhibition.
Other artists including Nguyen Manh Cuong; Chu Minh Quan; and Nguyen Thuy Duong will display their work as well.
The compositions in the exhibition follow the problems of life, especially in Hanoi City to convey positive messages, according to artist Luong Xuan Doan, deputy-chairman of the association.
This is the 24th exhibition to be held by the association in Hanoi. The annual event is a chance for artists from the three sectors to introduce their new work.
The exhibition’s winners will be considered for the association’s award and Viet Nam Literature and Art Associations Union.
The exhibition is held to mark the 74th August Revolution anniversary and National Day on September 2. It runs until August 21 at 16 Ngo Quyen Exhibition House.
