On December 17, District 1 Police, in coordination with other relevant authorities, took measures against several businesses found to be in violation following recent surprise inspections.

On the evening of December 15, District 1 Police and local ward police conducted unannounced administrative checks at several conditional business venues within the area.

At an entertainment venue operated by New DC Joint Stock Company (148 Cong Quynh Street), authorities discovered that the establishment was operating past the permitted hours. Police took 47 individuals to headquarters for further verification.

Drug tests revealed that four individuals (two men and two women) tested positive for narcotics. Additionally, police confiscated seven nitrous oxide (laughing gas) tanks, each weighing 47kg.

At Em & Em Luxury Restaurant Co., Ltd. (21 Bui Thi Xuan Street), authorities found the establishment was providing karaoke services without a license. Equipment and related materials were confiscated as evidence. Authorities are continuing to investigate these two locations for further violations.

Simultaneously, police inspected three additional venues:

Mvillage Joint Stock Company (14th venue at 157 Nguyen Du Street)

DQN Restaurant and Hotel Operations Services Co., Ltd. (Floors 1-8, 13 Bui Thi Xuan Street)

The Noble Swan Hotel New World branch operated by The Noble Co., Ltd. (270 Le Thanh Ton Street)

The three businesses were found to have violated regulations related to conditional business activities concerning security and order, as they lacked the necessary operating licenses. In addition to administrative penalties, authorities imposed supplementary measures, including the suspension of business operations for 6 to 9 months.
