The festival will offer companies and experts a chance to meet, discuss and share knowledge and insights about the fastest growing markets in the blockchain and crypto landscape. It is organised by Huobi Pro, which is the world’s third largest digital asset exchange and expects to feature about 300 speakers.
Co-operation opportunities are also expected to arise.
Dr David Nguyen, president of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce Singapore and chairman of Regulus Investment & Capital Holdings, said: “Viet Nam is becoming more and more important on the global blockchain map. As such, Viet Nam needs more help from global leaders in the blockchain industry, like Huobi Pro.”
Attendees will have a chance to meet industry leaders such as Loi Luu (founder of Kyber Network), Larry Liu (founder of Genaro Network), Li Pu (chief technology officer of Achain), and Mikhail Mironov (head of partnership at ICORating).
In Southeast Asia, Viet Nam has been dubbed "the block chain country to watch" because of its high-tech literacy and engineering resources.
According to the World Economic Forum, Viet Nam ranks among the top 10 countries in producing engineering talents.
Wu Xing, senior director of Huobi Pro, said: “There has been a surge in demand from the Vietnamese market and we hope that by opening up new opportunities here, we can have a positive impact on both the local economy and eco-system.”
