A series of festivals and cultural activities celebrating the 300th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh City are planning to be held, announced the municipal People’s Committee.

To celebrate such a glorious event, the local authorities have released a program called “Sai Gon- Cho Lon-Gia Dinh-HCM City- 320-year Aspiration for Rising Highly” .

The city's Department of Culture and Sport has cooperated with relevant units to organize fine arts and photo exhibitions, seminars on the city’s international integration and its modernization process, a contest learning about the founding of the city.

One of the highlight events is a festival themed “Sai Gon – HCM City- 320-year Aspiration for Rising Highly” that will take place in Nguyne Hue walking street and Bach Dang pier.
