Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee office sent a document of Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong’s decision to deregulate the ban on wearing Jean, T-shirtat public offices.

Chairman Phong also asked the Department of Home Affairs to review regulation of conduct code in civil servants and update people’s opinion to submit to the People’s Committee.

The Department must submit to the committee before December 25.

Before, the city’s Department of Home Affairs proposed the People’s Committee banning civil servants in Ho Chi Minh City from wearing jeans and T-shirts in their offices except when they take part in the unit’s formal activities.

Deputy director of the Department Le Hoai Trung confirmed the proposal of civil servants’ conduct code had been submitted to the committee.
