The proposed Ring Road 4 will extend 206.72 kilometers, passing through five provinces: Ba Ria - Vung Tau (18.23 km), Dong Nai (45.54 km), Binh Duong (47.95 km), Ho Chi Minh City (16.7 km), and Long An (78.3 km).

During its first phase, the focus will be on land clearance and the construction of a four-lane expressway with emergency lanes throughout the entire route.

The project will feature 21 interchanges, providing multiple access points across each province.

Execution of the project will follow a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model, with nearly 42.5 trillion VND in central government funding and an additional 33.5 trillion VND contributed by local governments.

Once completed, Ring Road 4 is expected to ease traffic congestion in Ho Chi Minh City and improve the flow of goods between the Southwest and Southeast regions, facilitating trade and supporting economic growth.

The road will also enhance connectivity between key ports, including Hiep Phuoc and Long An.
