VietNamNet Bridge - The headmaster of a primary school in the southern province of Bac Lieu on May 12 was arrested for lewd acts against many schoolgirls over a long period.

Headmaster Nguyen Van Toan, 46, of a primary school in Vinh Phu Dong Commune was accused of committing these acts against seven school girls of 10-12 years old.

In late April, a fifth grader who was Toan’s victim used her cell phone to film the scene in which her classmates' sensitive organs were touched by the headmaster. After the clip spread, many parents  filed denunciations against this teacher to the police.

Last week Toan was suspended from work and Party operations.

This is the second case of its kind detected in Vietnam so far this year. In March a guard of a primary school in Lao Cai province was arrested for sexually harassing tens of primary school girls.
