Airline passengers in HCM City can use helicopter service to get to Tan Son Nhat International Airport which is provided by the Southern Vietnam Helicopter Company (VNH South).

 A VNH South helicopter lands on the helipad on the roof of the Times Square Building in HCM City's District 1 on May 5.

VNH South on June 9 co-operated with the Times Square Vietnam Investment Joint Stock Company to do at test flight on the helipad on the roof of the 39-storey Times Square Building in District 1.

According to VNH South, they are discussing with Times Square Vietnam Investment Joint Stock Company on a long-term helicopter service contract to serve transportation flights for VIPs, Times Square’s management and those guests who stay at The Reverie Saigon Hotel from Times Square helipad to Tan Son Nhat International Airport and vice versa, or from Times Square helipad and Tan Son Nhat International Airport to other destinations in the South of Vietnam.

The service has been approved by the Ministry of Defence.

There are currently 10 helipads on buildings in HCM City including Bitexco, Tan Son Nhat Saigon Hotel, Diamond Plaza, and Times Square.
