Through inspections and supervision of anti-corruption, anti-wastefulness, and anti-negativity efforts, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and the City Party Committee’s Inspection Commission have disciplined and expelled 112 Party members.
On the morning of December 18, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a conference to review Party-building efforts, governance, and public outreach activities in 2024, while outlining key tasks and solutions for 2025.
The Standing Committee of the Party Committee has led and directed the implementation of directives from the Central Inspection Commission regarding the inspection, supervision, and disciplinary actions against Party organizations and members involved in violations related to companies such as AIC Corporation, Van Thinh Phat Group, and Thuan An Group.
Additionally, it instructed subordinate Party committees to focus on monitoring and supervising Party organizations, leaders, and key officials in areas prone to violations, such as land management, construction order, public asset management and usage, and public investment.
Following inspections and supervision, the Standing Committee and subordinate Party committees disciplined: 10 Party organizations, with 9 reprimands and 1 warning, 299 Party members, through: 214 reprimands, 54 warnings, 9 dismissals, 22 expulsions.
The City Party Committee’s Inspection Commission and inspection commissions at lower levels disciplined: 9 Party organizations, with 7 reprimands and 2 warnings; 206 Party members, through: 81 reprimands, 34 warnings, 1 dismissal, 90 expulsions.
