Fireworks will be staged at multiple locations across the city, prompting traffic adjustments in several key areas.

In central Ho Chi Minh City, where launch sites are located at the Saigon River tunnel entrance in An Khanh Ward and at the SAIGON MARINA IFC tower in Sai Gon Ward, traffic will be restricted from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm on April 30.

All access points to Ba Son Bridge and Khanh Hoi Bridge, including emergency exits, will be closed during the restriction period.

Authorities have outlined alternative routes for commuters.

From Thanh My Tay Ward to Xom Chieu Ward, drivers can take Nguyen Huu Canh - Thu Thiem Bridge - Saigon River tunnel - Ky Con - Tran Hung Dao - Nguyen Thai Hoc - Ong Lanh Bridge - Hoang Dieu.

In the opposite direction, from Xom Chieu Ward to Thanh My Tay Ward, the route includes Nguyen Tat Thanh - Hoang Dieu - Ong Lanh Bridge - Nguyen Thai Hoc - Nguyen Thi Nghia - Cach Mang Thang Tam - Nguyen Thi Minh Khai - Xo Viet Nghe Tinh.

The reverse route follows Le Hong Phong - Dien Bien Phu - Saigon Bridge - Vo Nguyen Giap.

For roads leading to Me Linh Square, including Phan Van Dat, Ho Huan Nghiep, and Ngo Duc Ke, traffic will only be allowed toward the square and not into Dong Khoi Street, particularly for vehicles remaining within the restricted zone after isolation measures are in place.

Authorities also prohibit stopping, parking, or gathering to watch fireworks on bridges such as Thu Thiem, Mong, Calmette, Ong Lanh, the Hang Xanh overpass, Phu My, Nguyen Huu Canh overpass, Saigon Bridge, and Rach Dia Bridge.

In Area 1, located in the new city center of Binh Duong Ward, roads including Hung Vuong Street and Huynh Thuc Khang Street (from Truong Sa to Le Loi) will be closed from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm.

Residents are advised to proactively choose alternative routes using nearby parallel roads to avoid the fireworks zones.

In Area 2, at Ba Ria Square in Ba Ria Ward, traffic will also be restricted from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm on roads such as Nam Quoc Cang (from Bui Lam to Dien Bien Phu), Dien Bien Phu (from Nam Quoc Cang to Nguyen Thi Dinh), and Nguyen Thi Dinh (from Dien Bien Phu to the Border Guard school gate).

Phạm Văn Đồng Street will limit car access from Nguyen Van Linh to Dien Bien Phu.

Alternative routes include Bui Lam - Nguyen Tat Thanh - Nguyen Van Linh - Nguyen Thi Dinh - Dien Bien Phu, connecting to other directions.

The Traffic Police Division advises drivers approaching restricted zones to slow down and follow instructions from authorities and traffic signals.

Depending on real-time traffic conditions, adjustments to restriction times and expanded control zones may be implemented to ensure safety, along with appropriate traffic flow management measures.
