At a press conference on August 21, the city’s Department of Culture and Sports announced the plan, coordinated with the City Command and related agencies.

The three high-altitude displays will take place at the Saigon River Tunnel entrance (An Khanh ward), the central square of the new urban area in Binh Duong ward, and Thuy Van Square in Vung Tau ward. The low-altitude show will be held at Dam Sen Cultural Park in Binh Thoi ward.

Each display will last 15 minutes, beginning at 9:00 p.m.

Ahead of the fireworks, the city will host special art performances starting at 7:30 p.m. at three venues: Nguyen Hue Street in Saigon ward, the outdoor stage of the central park in the new urban area in Binh Duong ward, and Thuy Van Square in Vung Tau ward.

These cultural and entertainment events are expected to draw large crowds of residents and visitors, adding vibrancy to the city’s festive atmosphere as the nation marks its 80th National Day.
