VietNamNet Bridge – The ancient city will host the annual Hoi An-Japan Cultural Festival with a series of activities from August 28 to 30, Hoi An's culture centre said yesterday, June 25.

 VietNamNet Bridge – The ancient city of Hoi An has launched a variety of tourism promotions between May and August, officials at the city's Culture and Sport Centre said.

 VietNamNet Bridge – Hoai River is a tributary of the Thu Bon River running through Hoi An. It is considered a symbol of the old town. The peaceful little river is also associated with the livelihoods of many local residents.

On February 4th, a traditional boat racing was held on the Hoai River in the ancient town of Hoi An, Quang Nam province. The annual event attracted more than 5,000 local people and international tourists.

 VietNamNet Bridge - On November 16, Hoi An ancient town in Quang Nam province was deeply submerged in flooding when the Hoai River water level exceeded the third alarm. Thousands of tourists were evacuated from the low-lying areas.
